Our mission for Inbound Books is to bring the best of contemporary Chinese literature to a global audience, emphasizing authenticity, quality, and cultural insight.

Our diverse catalogue celebrates the rich diversity of Chinese narratives and global diaspora perspectives. We invite submissions of prose and poetry that engage with Chinese history, lived experiences, folklore, or contemporary life across the globe. We also encourage pitches for translations.

Before submitting, translators must provide authorization to translate and publish from the writer whom they are translating.

We currently have open calls for submissions for Hong Kong in/out of Love and Translations New and Anew.
